First good low boost (15 psi) runs with the new motor. Will be pushing 26-30 psi if I can control it. ;-) This is Jim Murphy, the Jeep's owner, making a few passes in it. Thanks to Chris Phillips for finally getting Trifecta and HP Tuners to work and getting the new tune in the car. Chris said this after the runs: "The Jeep is much more powerful on the current 15psi boost setting than it was last year on 21psi and we have the ability to go up to about 30psi. Pulls strong to redline or as close to redline as we could get in the space we had, not dropping off in power like it did at 5500 rpm, the current redline is 7500. Unfortunately the O2 sensor is bad and we could not fully dial it in, but are ordering one tomorrow. I will install it and check to make sure it is working properly and once verified so we will finish tuning on the Saturday before Moultrie."

Impressive combination for a autocross monster.

Just some thoughts about driving the "Jeep", a SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) E Modified car that remotely looks like a Jeep. The Jeep is owned by Jim Murphy, so I just show up and drive it! Archives
