![]() Welcome to the North Georgia WX blog site!
This page is part of a family of websites and social media sites that will be a part of an upcoming new landing page at http://www.northgeorgiawx.com, and you will eventually find this new logo (to the left) on all of my sites. Here you'll find several types of blog posts, most are about weather but there are some about my hobbies. I figured there was no sense in wasting two blog sites when I could do it all on one! I will slowly transition my more lengthy weather post to here instead of posting directly to my North Georgia Weather page on Facebook where most of the talk goes on about the weather. Part of the reason is that the blog site handles images and videos much better than Facebook, but I can also tag and archive the post so they are easier to find, something almost impossible on Facebook. I will also start posting the "Weather on This Date" here as well. In any case, a corresponding post will be made on the Facebook page that will link the story back to here. There are also several other supporting websites are well, with the main two being my DaculaWeather.com site and on Twitter @DaculaWeather, so many of the resources I'll be using come from the many hundreds of pages of weather information I have at DaculaWeather.com. There you will find just about any and every weather resource you may need. That site is constantly a work in progress, so please check back often for changes and updates. Here are a list of my current sites including the two are currently under construction

DaculaWeather.com is the foundation for all of my various weather sites. With more than 1000 pages of weather information, you will most likely find exactly what you're looking for. There are pages for the most experienced meteorologist to the novice weather watchers, and even links for kids. What you see on this page is just a sample of the incredible amount of information available on the web site, so please click on the link and give it a try if you haven't already.
The current conditions that you see below, are live conditions, usually not more than 8-10 seconds old. The data is updated using an AJAX script, and you can actually watch the data change, including the wind rose, without refreshing your browser! This is only a sample of the real site, I have not included the menu or any other pages in this view, so please visit DaculaWeather.com for the full website!
